Greetings from IYAPC! We wish you a happy and productive 2012-2013 season.

International Young Artist Piano Competition is very grateful for your constant support . We have had a series of wonderful competitions,winners concerts and radio broadcast which have given young musicians many opportunities to grow, learn, experience and love music.We are very grateful for our sponsors and support. We are trying to make each event a very special experience !

We would like to invite you to participate in the competition Preliminaries in April, 2013 around the country and overseas. Finals on June 27 - 29th, 2013 (Thur. to Sat) and Award Ceremony/winners concert on June 30 (Sunday) at 2 pm--4:30pm. In between the time, we will organize all our fund raising events to reach our goal,work with the finalists-local, out of town and overseas before their grand appearances. Please mark your calendars to enjoy our talented pianists performing in the Finals at the Catholic University Of America, Ward Recital Hall ,Benjamin T. Rome School of Music. All events are free and open to the public.Your presence will be great encouragement to our young pianists.

Last year we had pianists from MD, DC, VA, PA, DE, FL, OH, GA, MA, NY, NJ, CT, CA , SC, new states Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois and overseas China in April and divides into 6 groups. Each one performed western pieces and one Chinese required piece. The competition is to promote the music from the East and the West. The ethnic reference is an indication of the international and inclusive flavor of the unique International Young Artist Piano Competition.
